Spread the Word

Your financial support is an important way to help John Stott Ministries and the Langham Partnership. However, there is much more you can do to spread the word about JSM and support our efforts.

Everyone who promotes the work of John Stott Ministries and its Langham programs in their church or community is a Langham Ambassador and part of the JSM-Langham team. Here are ways you can help:

Prayer
Pray for the JSM-Langham Preaching Program. Please pray that:

• we will be able to craft appropriate materials for trainers who are joining the facilitators team
• we will be able to find the balance between starting new initiatives around the world and consolidating work in existing countries
• we will be able to sustain the administrative efficiency and financial resources that are needed to keep multiple programmes developing happily
• the staff and team members who are travelling so frequently will know the Lord’s care and protection.

Pray for the JSM-Langham Literature Program. Please pray that:

• we will be able to complete the many wiring projects that are being undertaken by Majority World authors and that these projects will have a significant impact in their regions
• we will be able to continue to find effective ways to send evangelical books to the over 800 Majority World Seminaries and Colleges that request books through our Library Grants Program
• we will be able to work with more local publishing houses to ensure that local writers can see their books published and begin impacting those in their area

Pray for the JSM-Langham Scholars Program. Please pray that:

• the over 170 graduated scholars will remain safe and continue to have an impact leading people to mature faith in their regions of the world
• the scholars who are currently in PhD programs will complete their studies in a timely manner and will return home to begin making the impact that God has called them to

Present JSM at your church
Educating your church on the work of John Stott Ministries and the needs of the Majority World is a great way to spread the word about JSM. We have created a lesson plan packet to help you in this task. This packet contains everything you will need to lead a discussion about the work that John Stott Ministries is doing.

JSM Sunday
Many churches are interested in the work JSM is doing in the Majority World. If you would like to have a representative from JSM come to your church and speak about this strategic work, please email churchrelations.jsm@johnstott.org for details and to arrange a date.
