A Special Message from John Stott

I am thankful for this opportunity to share with you my great interest in the Global Initiative and my confidence in the leadership of JSM-Langham.

The Global Initiative is a very important endeavor to take advantage of a strategic window of opportunity in the Majority World. The future of the church in the Majority World – for generations to come – is being shaped now. JSM-Langham, unlike any other time in its history, is now poised to address more fully the profound need for capable leadership in the Majority World church. As I have said for quite some time, the great challenge facing the church is that it has great breadth without depth. The Global Initiative seeks to help address this challenge by resourcing the JSM-Langham programmes well into the future and well beyond my lifetime.
